Melanie and I went to elementry school, dance classes and we were on the drill team together. Melanie always kept me in line and reminded me of my responsibilities. Melanie is one of the most self sufficient friends I have, she knows how to take care of business. She has one of those bubbly personalitys that people can't help loving. She has always had a way of making new friends and making people feel comfortable. Melanie and I have always had a special bond in which we always feel compelled to share our lives with each other. We have had many a long heart to heart talks that I don't know what I would do with out. I am so priveledged to be one of Melanie's best friends because she has so many. She is so caring and sweet and sensitive, she is the type of person that everyone wants to have as a friend. Her heart is so open and loving. I look up to Mel because she carrys herself with a smooth grace, she handles her school work, her job and her pesonal life all with a strong sense of duty and responsibility. This is one chick who really has it together.
Melanie will be graduating from Virginia Tech in May with a bachelors degree in communications and a minor in psychology. Soon she will be moving in with her loving boyfriend Chris. I know she is very anxious to start her career. I am very proud of her and I wish her luck with her new life.
